Can you believe it's going to be 2013 already? The years just fly by faster and faster.
I have made a little gift for you. I felt the smiley face peyote rock that I made symbolized the happiness we should all start the new year with.
Feel free to download this picture and use it as your pocket calender for January. You can click on the picture to make it bigger. I will put up a new one every month.
Happy New Year!

Xmas Decorations
My friend asked me to make some beaded decorations for her tree. She said it is just a little tree, and she wanted blue and silver to match the other decorations she bought. So, I looked through my collection of Sandra Halpenny snowflake patterns and picked two. She makes the greatest snowflake patterns! And her directions are easy to follow, with good diagrams.
Anyway, here are my snowflakes.
Then I wanted to make her a really special ornament, so I chose Paula Adams' Pagoda pattern. It was pretty easy to follow as well, though I wouldn't recommend it for beginners because she doesn't include any basic instructions, like 'step up' at the end of a round.
Here is my Pagoda ornament.
My friend loved them! Yay!
