One technique I have not tried yet, but would love to learn someday is bead embroidery. I see so many beautiful things made with this technique!
Here is a collar, that is going to be a necklace, done by a member of my bead group, Donna Louise Sanders. See how she made the twirly bead in the center? I would never be able to stop playing with it if I were wearing it.
This is another fantastic piece made by another member of my bead group, Dee Wingrove-Smith. It's so colorful! I'd probably wear this as a brooch if it were mine, or maybe hang it on a pretty chain.
Bead embroidery also looks great on cuff bracelets. Here is one bracelet from a shop on ArtFire, Dancing Wind Designs. Just my colors, too.
I've added bead embroidery to my to-do list, which seems to grow longer every day, but I've promised myself I will learn this technique someday.

I would absolutely love to do that too...been wanting to learn craft for the longest time. -Belinda.
@ Dani...I didn't make any of these, wish I knew how to. The pictures today are of other people's work.
These are just fabulous!!!!! Last year I tried my hand at a mix of beads and floss embroidery, using iron on designs, and I was really pleased with the results. I've never done anything this detailed though.
These are gorgeous! I bet they would take a lot of patience and hard work but the outcome is just breath taking. Love the details. You are going to have to try it!!

I've wanted to learn bead embroidery as well; your post is good motivation! That twirly bead is amazing!
I have never heard of bead embroidery. Thanks for introducing me

I love the bracelets from artfire you have posted!
Love the fish the most. I think I'd make it a necklace, I'd come closer to wearing a necklace than a pin. Never thought of beads being embroidered, although I know some quilters who embellish with them as part of the embroidery.
Your designs are remarkable. I also love to embroider but I am more of a cross stitch fan. However, I really marvel at your attention to detail. :)
Bames, I used to do counted cross stitch. I still have a lot of my supplies, but I haven't touched them since I began beading.
